A quiet corner of the internet
About Snailbound
Hello there,
ith the amount of time we spend in front of screens, people are beginning to crave offline experiences. In the past few years, we've seen the rise of mail clubs — subscription-based letters where independent creators and artists share their artwork and goodies through snail mail.
A mail club might arrive monthly with a thoughtful letter, original artwork, stickers, crafts, or some other small, handmade surprise. For creators, mail clubs are powerful: with enough subscribers, they can make a living doing what they love.
But running a mail club at scale takes more than stamps. Most creators support subscribers across their country, and some ship worldwide. That means they need tools to find subscribers, collect recurring payments, and track who's been sent what — and today, that usually means stitching together three or four platforms that weren't built for this.
Snailbound changes that. We handle subscriptions, payments, and mailing management in one place so creators can focus on what they do best: making things people love to hold in their hands.

Snailbound is woman-founded and woman-run, built with the goal of helping other women turn their creative work into sustainable income. I've spent over a decade building data and analytics tools at marketplace companies like Lyft and Qwick, where I learned how the right technology can remove friction between creators and their audiences.
I'm also a mail club subscriber myself and a regular at craft fairs and maker markets — so when I kept watching talented creators struggle to run their clubs with tools that weren't built for them, the problem felt personal. I built the first version of Snailbound during a 48-hour SheBuilds Hackathon hosted by Lovable, and I haven't stopped since.
My hope is that Snailbound makes mail club management effortless for creators, helps people like me discover new artists to support, and encourages more of us to invest in tangible things that connect us to each other and the world.
With love,
Michelle
